The approaching Workday implementation represents a significant operational change for all faculty, staff and students at Washington and Lee. The familiar systems used to manage finance, employment details and student records are being replaced. The move to Workday is designed to boost operational efficiencies, improve data visibility and provide an adaptable framework that ensures continued student success, well into the future.

As they say, it will be here before you know it. Consequently, we think it’s important to begin slowly and deliberately introducing the concepts of Workday over the course of the next 10 months, before Phase 1 is complete.

This effort was kicked off with the September 19th campus wide announcement about Workday adoption and accompanying description of the project timeline. Going forward, milestone updates will be communicated to you as needed using the BroadcastMailer at W&L. Awareness updates will be distributed through Campus Notices. The Project Workday website will serve as the central hub for everything relevant to the ongoing project.
